I’m Taylor, owner and creative mind behind Cottonwood Cakes! 
I’ve always had a love for baking but it wasn’t until I decided I was going to make my son’s second birthday cake that I became completely obsessed with learning everything I possibly could about cakes and baking. A lot of practice and a few questionable looking cakes later I pulled off a successful second birthday cake for my son. Little did I know that was just the beginning! I never stopped baking and Cottonwood Cakes was born! Here we are just two years and thousands of orders later and I’m still obsessed and loving it!

Fun facts about me: 
💛 I have an Interior Design degree from Appalachian State University 🖤 Go App!
💗 I have two boys named Finley and Bodie that keep me on my toes at all times #boymom
💗My favorite cake flavor is That Cookie Do’ 🙌🏻 I could eat the filling by the pound!! 
💗 My favorite color is pink (obviously 😂)
💗 I love iced coffee no matter how cold it is
💗 I love to travel! My favorite place I've been to so far is Exuma, Bahamas!

I offer all kinds of celebration cakes, wedding cakes, cupcakes, cakesicles (customer fav!) and small desserts like macarons. I spent so much time perfecting my recipes to ensure they taste as good as they look. If you don’t like cake, you might after you try mine 😉
